Freeing the Word - Vishuddha the Throat Chakra

Vishuddha chakra (the 5th energy center) is located in the hollow of the neck, positioned between the heart and the head, it is at the crossroads of thoughts and feelings, its function is to ensure the vitality of our body.

This is where some of our basic needs, such as air, water and food, pass.

But it is also where the voice is formed, our means of expressing our emotions, our needs and our desires with the world, it is the possibility of being heard and of listening in return.

It is associated with the thyroid, the conductor of our metabolism and the body in general, which makes it the center of exchanges and possible transformations.

An imbalance in this area of the body can result in difficulty expressing oneself, communicating, telling one's truth, being honest with oneself, having good self-esteem and can lead to compulsive or excessive eating behavior. We may have difficulty listening, be critical of others (even arrogant and dominant), not allow others to respond to us or express their opinions and impose our way of doing things.

Physical symptoms related to dysfunctions in the associated organs are located at the level of the throat, ears, mouth, shoulders and neck.

They can cause laryngitis, sore throat, tonsillitis, tooth, jaw and ear problems, sinus infections, thyroid problems, arthritis in the shoulders or loss of voice.

In this workshop we will seek to pacify, relax, stimulate and activate this area in turn, to find a balance that allows us to "swallow" what needs to be digested emotionally speaking, while promoting the expression of blockages and unspoken things in the future.

This workshop is open to all, however a regular yoga practice is recommended.

All equipment is provided on site.
